JFJ Baker is the only oak bark tannery in England. This leather is unlike anything else I've ever handled.
Natural bridle like this is very rare and hard to come by. It is created in the same traditional manner as dyed English bridle leathers, but remains natural in color. This leather is going to age like vegtan, darkening with wear over time. The color reminds me a bit of natural chromexcel a bit.
Weighing in at 13-14oz, this is the thickest leather I've ever worked with. It makes for a very sturdy cuff, and it's almost addictive to handle.
The 'S' clasp is available in either solid brass, solid copper, or nickel-plated brass. Edges are burnished smooth.
All cuffs now come with a small pigeon branded stamp!
