I'm very excited to finally be able to offer Horween's legendary "Color 8" chromexcel! This color is well known by boot enthusiasts, It would most accurately be classified as a dark purple / cherry, but it changes quite a bit depending on the lighting! It is so dark and saturated that it even looks black in some lighting. There is a ton of pull up in this leather, as is evident where the leather is stretched around the buckle and you see that brighter pop of color.

The leather is a nice 9-10oz thickness, and while chromexcel is known to be very stretchy, I help counteract that in the sizing of the belt by both stretching the leather as much as I can, and sizing down from the measurement you provide me. Please do not size down when providing your measurement and allow me to do that on my end.

Available with either my Patented Double Prong Quick Release Buckle or the classic single prong quick release that has been around for over 200 years.

Upgrade to my new Patented Japanese Made Double Prong Quick Release Buckle by adding this listing to your order.

The Double Prong Quick Release Buckle features the same quick release action that you're familiar with. Simply flick down on the lever and the belt will come undone. The tension keeps it buckled, and it will never come undone on its own.

Not to be confused with "top grain", or "genuine leather"; "full grain leather" is the highest grade leather there is, and will last you many lifetimes.

To order this belt, please measure one of your old belts using the diagram pictured above. The system that I use is the most accurate method of measurement, and involves measuring from the end of the buckle prong, to the hole that fits you best (this method accounts for any difference in length between your buckle and mine). You can add your measurement in the measurement section above, or you can shoot me a message thereafter.
